Abstract

|
Severely damaged socket and peri-implant defect are very challenging to be managed properly. If untreated at the time of tooth or implant removal, huge defect is frequently generated. In the present case report, we present two cases of ridge preservation for severely damaged socket and peri-implant defect. Each case was treated with some variation in treatment protocol, which are hypothesized to serve as references for treating severely damaged defect around tooth or implant.
